今は使われていない西桟橋です。
竹富島の人気スポットです。
This place is called ”Nishi-Sanbashi” ( the western pier ).
Now,this pier isn’t used.
This pier is the popular tourist spot in the Taketomi-Island.

カイジ浜です。星の砂が見つかります。
” Kaiji-Hama” (Kaiji-Beach).
You can find star-shaped sands here.
なごみの塔です。石段の傾斜がきつく、のぼり下りには慎重さが必要です。
“Nagomi-no-Tou” ( The Nagomi-Tower ).
Its stone steps are steep, so , be careful? to go up and down the stairs.

竹富島は、石垣島離島桟橋から高速艇で15分程度で訪れることができます。
集落全体が、木造赤瓦の民家と白砂を敷詰めた道という沖縄古来の姿を保っており、
重要伝統的建造物群に指定されております。

It takes only about 15 min. from Ishigaki-Island to this island by high – speed craft.
This entire village was designated as a Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Because residents of this island maintain the tradition of Okinawa (Ryukyu-Period).
