まちなみ逍遙

Omori Railway Station is easily accessible by the central Tokyo,Japan.
And,a high class residential area spreads out on the hill in the west side of the station (Sanno-town).
However, along narrow valley,between the train platform and the hill,there are wall-to-wall small pubs and taverns.This pub alley is commonly called “the Hell Valley”,but,despite its eerie image,some of the pubs are very fashionable or stylish.

The other hand,the very rare style old building,in which hostess-clubs ( they employ primarily female staff and cater to males seeking drinks and attentive conversation) with the so narrow width of the entrances jostle,on the east side of the station.

東京駅まで京浜東北線で十数分と，都心へのアクセスも良い大森駅至近には，２箇所のディープスポットがあります。

１つは，高台の高級住宅街・山王が控える駅西口の線路脇の谷間の居酒屋路地です。
正式名称は，「山王小路飲食店街」といいますが，通称，「地獄谷」の異名を持っております。その由来は正確には不明ですが，ホームと高台に挟まれた狭小の一本の路地裏には，長い階段を上り下りしなければ行くことができず，酔っぱらった方には大変かもしれません。
しかし「地獄谷」という，おどろおどろしい雰囲気とは正反対の温かい路地裏で，また，やはり山王が控えるからでしょうか，お洒落なガイドマップに掲載されるような小さなパブも数軒見受けられました。

そしてもう１つは，駅東口側の線路沿いを少し歩いたところに位置する，古い長屋ビル，「大森飲食街ビル」です。噂では，日本初の区分所有ビルだとも言われているようですが，真偽は謎です。建物内の１本の通路の両側に，１枚扉のみの間口の狭小なクラブが軒を並べておりました。
